CLS
Abbreviation for Cumulative Layout Shift
Definition
CLS is a Core Web Vitals metric that captures how much visible content shifts unexpectedly while a page loads. Typical causes are images without fixed dimensions, late-loading ads or banners inserted after the fact. A low value stands for a stable layout in which visitors do not accidentally click the wrong element.
