We still advise monitoring. New content or updates can make the site slow again.
Monitoring is up to you. You pay for it each month. You can cancel with one month's notice to the end of a month. On request we talk about the state at fixed times and say what can be improved.

The one-time optimization itself incurs no mandatory costs afterwards, the improvements achieved remain yours. So you are not locked into a subscription model to stay fast.
We nonetheless recommend optional monitoring, because website performance is not a static state: new content, plugin updates, CMS upgrades or changed third-party scripts can gradually degrade the values. Monitoring is billed monthly, can be canceled with one month's notice to the end of a month and can be adjusted. On request it includes a quarterly review session in which we assess the current state and recommend targeted adjustments where needed.
